Savers Are from Mars. Debtors Are from Venus. Episode 1

Mind-Boggling True Story

Debtor: “I’m going to buy a new car.”

Saver: “Why? Your Honda Civic might go another 100,000 miles. What’s wrong with it?"

Debtor: “It’s going to be paid off soon.”

Take the quiz: Would you buy a new car or not? Answer in comments.

Good Grief, NO!!!!

NOT even. My car has been paid off for 2 years and I expect to get another 3 years out of it. It will be 10 years old at that point and have about 150,000 miles on it.

And I'll pay cash for the next one! No more car payments for THIS girl, thanks ever so!

Hello. Congratulations on having no car debt. In adiition to the debt question, it is interesting to see whether people trade-in or drive a car until it dies.

Thank you for posting.
